Kleffmann Group China

First Client conference and the "China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition 2016" (CAC)

In March 2016, Kleffmann Group China held its first client conference. It was held in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in the heart of Shanghai’s business districts. The eight clients who attended the conference were given an overview of all provided services by Kleffmann Group. Of particular interest were the data and insights of our amis®AgriGlobe® team which lead to an in-depth discussion about amis®AgriGlobe® before moving on to amis®Panel & Adhoc. As might be expected, the development of the Chinese agricultural market and the opportunities and threats to multinational companies were the most interesting topics for everyone during the meeting.

Following the conference Kleffmann Group participated at the 16th China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC 2016) which was held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 9th March to 11th March 2016. The world’s largest agrochemical occupied five exhibition halls of 54,000 square meters and in addition to the Kleffmann Group, more than 1.000 exhibiting companies from more than 20 countries and nearly 30,000 visitors from over 120 countries were present. The CAC serves as an exchange platform for agricultural inputs involving pesticides, fertilizers, seeds and many more agriculture related topics. Kleffmann Group exhibited and informed visitors about its agricultural market research services, its portfolio and how the cooperation with farmers worldwide is carried out. The exhibition booth was visited by wealth of visitors from different ag-market companies who spoke to the Kleffmann Group experts about market developments, available services along with future opportunities for investments.

In addition to the direct client contact at the exhibition booth Dr. Bob Fairclough, Team Leader of amis®AgriGlobe®, held an insightful presentation as the preferred speaker at CCPIA. The title:“Crop Protection & Seed treatment Trends- Improvement & Application of Seed Treatment Technology in Europe” which was well received by expert audience and attracted many visitors.

Kleffmann Group demonstrated again that it perfectly fits to the CAC. The services it provides support key decision makers in the agricultural sector and delivers the insights they need to develop profitable business opportunities.
