KG MarketSense adds key account manager for animal health and Canada

Des Moines, Iowa – April 25, 2017 – KG MarketSense is pleased to announce Kevin Ryan is joining the organization as the key account manager serving animal health clients in Europe, as well as animal health and other agricultural clients in Canada. In his new role, Ryan also will assist in developing new information products for the animal health market. He will be located in Montreal, Canada.

“Kevin has more than 25 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, global marketing, strategic planning and sales management in the animal health sector,” says David Soorholtz, managing director of the North American operations for KG MarketSense. “He is a proven leader with a passion for finding innovative, creative solutions to complex challenges – a great addition to our global team.”

Prior to joining KG MarketSense, Ryan spent three years in Montreal, Canada, as a market strategy director and business unit director for ruminants and equine for Merck Animal Health, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Before his time at Merck, Ryan held positions at Pfizer (now Zoetis) as the business unit director for companion animals in Canada, marketing director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East for ruminants; and the global marketing research group director.

Earlier in his career, he served as the global marketing research manager for Merial, and the vice president of marketing research for the Angus Reid Group Agri-Food. He is an economics graduate of the University of Toronto.
