Roggenkamp and Staley Join KG MarketSense
Des Moines, Iowa – April 20, 2017 – KG MarketSense is pleased to announce the addition of two new employees – Greg Roggenkamp as a Key Account Manager for the company’s AMIS® Panels and Kyle Staley as Key Account Manager for Ad Hoc Research. Both will serve agricultural clients throughout North America.
“Both Roggenkamp and Staley bring unique experiences that will be instrumental to serving clients and the growth of KG MarketSense going forward,” says David Soorholtz, Managing Director of KG MarketSense. “Roggenkamp will direct KG MarketSense’s syndicated studies for crop, seed and crop protection chemicals, and Staley will be responsible for ad hoc research for clients in the crop protection, seed and agricultural machinery markets.”
Before joining KG MarketSense, Roggenkamp served as Project Vice President of Agronomic Syndicated Quantitative Studies for GfK (formerly Doane Marketing Research) in St. Louis, Mo., for more than 15 years. He also has held positions as a department manager and agronomist in at Cenex/Land O’ Lakes in southeast Nebraska and as a crop consultant for Servi-Tech, based out of Dodge City, Kan.
Roggenkamp earned his Ph.D. in Agronomy and Weed Science from the University of Nebraska. He also holds a M.S. in Agronomy and Crop Ecology, and a B.S. in Agronomy and Soil/Water Conservation from Kansas State University.
Staley joins as a Key Account Manager for Ad Hoc Research. Staley previously worked for KG MarketSense as a Market Research Analyst from 2009-2012.
“Kyle brings a unique perspective from his past experience with us, as well as his consultant work for some very data-driven companies,” says Soorholtz. “Kyle also understands agriculture, having grown up on a crop and livestock farm in North Central Iowa.”
Besides his previous stint with KG MarketSense, Staley spent nearly three years as a manager and consultant for Grant Thorton LLP (formerly Arryve) in Bellevue, Wash., working for such clients as Microsoft Corporation, and serving on a wide variety of projects, including big data analytics in a cloud computing environment. Staley began his professional career as a consultant for Accenture in Overland Park, Kan.
Staley earned a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. He also received a B.S. in Agricultural Business and Economics, as well as a B.S. in Management from Iowa State University.
