All amis® surveys are designed so that research in the gene technology area can also be conducted. They permit integration of product information related to crop variety and plant protection for the identification and analysis of the interdependencies and the characteristics of gene modified plants. Additionally, insight into varietal and plant protection data gives a better understanding of farmer product buying behavior in these areas. Thus, for example, can questions related to package selling (selling of crop seed and plant protection material products as a single package) be resolved.
