Based on independent and neutral surveys, the DLG Trendmonitor® Europe delivers continuous comparable results from professional market research.
Since autumn 2003 the DLG Trendmonitor® Europe has been conducted by the Kleffmann Group in cooperation with the DLG (German Agricultural Society). In two survey campaigns per year a total of over 5,000 specially selected future-oriented arable and livestock farmers in Germany, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Great Britain and Russia are interviewed.
Featured in both campaigns is a general section which records the situation, trends, and tendencies as well as general investment plans in agriculture. Additionally, the image of agricultural sector companies is researched. This trend and image barometer presents biannually up-to-date data on the mood and business climate within the practical farming sector, information which allows identification of important trends and expectations of leading farmers in western, central and eastern Europe.
